Nävertorp adapted primary school is a small and safe 1-9 school with about 55 students studying subject areas. Here, the pedagogical meeting is at the center, and we work closely with teachers, student counselors, and student health to provide each student with the best opportunities to develop. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a student counselor, your role includes working within the adapted primary school with students studying subject areas. It is common for several of the students to have, in addition to ID (intellectual disability) and autism, additional diagnoses such as ADHD, language impairment, motor difficulties, and epilepsy. Together with the teaching staff at the school and after-school care, you will implement and plan activities for students in need of clarifying pedagogy and communication support (AAC). The work is often physically demanding.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical education such as a teacher in after-school care, childcare worker, nursing assistant, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience teaching students with intellectual disabilities and autism is an advantage. As a person, you are secure, flexible, and have a low-arousal approach. You have a high ability to collaborate and create good relationships.
